Suffolk Va, Dec 22, 2025 – Automatic Coating Limited USA, a recognized industry leader in advanced protective coatings and surface technologies and Moonlight Welding in operation in the Suffolk for over 25 years, are pleased to announce an exciting new chapter for our organizations. ACL USA and Moonlight Welding have officially joined forces. The strategic union of our complementary strengths in corrosion coating, repair, welding, fabrication serves to create a stronger more capable company. We are committed to serving the Hampton Roads area with innovation and excellence.
We’re excited to operate out of our modern existing, 1013 Obici Industrial Blvd 31,000 square foot facility, with the soon to be completed 22,000 square foot addition underway, giving us a total of 53,000 square foot. Purpose-built to enhance our efficiency and elevate our service. The impressive 36′ ceilings and multiple overhead cranes, each with an 80,000- pound lift capacity, will allow us to take on even larger, more complex projects with ease. Our new facility also features multiple bays and a generous laydown area, designed to ensure smooth operations and quick turnaround times.
This merger allows us to continue growing and innovating, positioning us to meet the evolving needs of the industry. We look forward to what the future holds, and to continuing to provide top-notch blasting-fluid bed, coating- repair and fabrication services to our clients, now with greater resources and an expanded range of capabilities.
Floyd Jones will now assume the role of Production Manager.
After 32 on active duty, 15 years with CRMC and 9 months with ACL USA as our business development manager Dan Spagone has decided to retire to his North Carolina farm. We want to thank Dan for his help in growing our commercial and industrial sales. Thanks to Dan for stepping up as GM while we went through this reorganization. We wish Dan the best in his new chapter of full retirement and his decision to focus on his grandchildren.
